Latest developments:

• The State Department of Health on Tuesday reported 240 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 193 new cases in Oahu, 24 on the island of Hawaii, 12 in Maui, eight in Kauai and three residents. from Hawaii diagnosed out of state.

• There are now 78,644 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 54,734 in Oahu, 9,913 in Hawaii County, 9,373 in Maui County (9,012 in Maui, 222 in Molokai and 139 in Lanai) and 2,223 in Kauai. A total of 2,401 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

• No new deaths were reported on Tuesday. Statewide death toll remains at 757, including 573 in Oahu, 86 on the island of Hawaii, 84 in Maui, eight in Kauai, one in Molokai, and five Hawaii residents who died out of state .

• Honolulu County has an average of 227 new cases per day and a test positivity rate of 4.5%, followed by Hawaii County with 51 cases and 5.2%, Maui County with 29 cases and 2.9% and Kauai County with 25 cases and 4.7%.
