The Galaxy S21 FE launched with a price tag of $700, and while that was similar to the Galaxy S20 FE’s launch price, it didn’t turn out to be the slam dunk that its predecessor was. And that’s due to fewer meaningful upgrades and an extremely delayed launch. No wonder the phone has already started seeing discounts.
Last week, Amazon started offering a $100 discount on the Galaxy S21 FE, making the phone more attractive. Now, Best Buy is offering a $200 discount on the smartphone. Yes, you can buy the 128GB Galaxy S21 FE through Best Buy in the US for just $499 if you activate it the same day. If you want to activate it later, you can get the phone for $599. The 256GB version of the phone can be had for $570 with same-day activation.
With the Galaxy S22’s expected launch price of $799, the Galaxy S21 FE looks like a pretty good deal at $499. The latter offers a larger screen and bigger battery, and it will receive the same number of software updates as the Galaxy S22.
The Galaxy S21 FE features a 6.4-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888 processor, 6GB/8GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, and a 5G connectivity. Samsung equipped it with a 32MP selfie camera and 12MP + 12MP + 8MP triple rear cameras. It has stereo speakers, IP68 rating, in-display fingerprint reader, 4500mAh battery, 25W fast charging, wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
